PARTS WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY
- All returns are for credit only, no cash refunds given. All returns must be done within 14 days of invoice date unless otherwise stated on the front of invoice.
- All items for return must be in their original packaging, unopened, and must be accompanied by the original receipt.
- The following items (but not limited to) can not be returned unless defective in which case they will be replaced under manufacturer warranty.
- Processors,
- Memory (Ram),
- Main Boards,
- Video Cards, Sound Cards, I/O Cards,
- Printers, Ink and Toner Cartridges
- Monitors,
- Software.
- Custom Desktop or laptop computers,
- Special Order Items.
- We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee.
- All warranties are Manufacturer Warranty Only unless otherwise stated on the front of invoice.
- We will handle the manufacturer warranty on parts for the first 30 days.
- We will handle any manufacturer warranty for a $40 shipping and handling fee.
- Most used systems carry a 1 Year Warranty, however please check before purchase. Warranty on used systems is not transferable.
- We can not be responsible for software loss due to any hardware failures. We strongly recommend the use of a backup system.
- We cannot be responsible for software or hardware corruption or loss due to a computer virus. We strongly recommend the use of anti virus software.
- We can not be responsible for software or hardware corruption or failure due to electrical brown outs or power failures. We strongly recommend the use of a surge bar or a UPS System.
- Any signs of physical damage will void all warranties.
NEW SYSTEM WARRANTY
- MTC warranty is depot drop off only, no on site warranty applies, unless otherwise stated on the invoice.
- New computer systems which include internal & external computer parts (unless otherwise stated): 1 or 3 year depot Warranty, Parts and Labor. No returns on new desktop systems.
- Monitors: as per Manufacturer Warranty, (MTC does not directly warranty monitors),
- Printers: as per Manufacturer direct Warranty, (MTC does not directly warranty printers),
- Software; direct as per Manufacturer, (MTC does not directly warranty software),
- Notebook Computers, Palm Tops, Digital Cameras, Scanners; 30-Day in-Store, remaining Manufacturer Warranty,
- Other products: Manufacturer warranty only.
- Warranty does not cover tampering or modification of any cables or hardware inside the computer.
NOTEBOOK COMPUTERS/PROJECTORS/MONITORS
All notebook computers carry a 30-Day In-store warranty, remaining warranty handled directly with manufacturer/projectors are direct manufacturer warranty only. Please call the manufacturer for Technical Support or Warranty issues.
USED SYSTEM AND USED PARTS WARRANTY
Used systems and used parts are not covered by any Warranty unless otherwise stated on the front of the invoice. Due to the nature of the items used laptop batteries, LCD panels (dead pixels) and power adapters are not covered under warranty.
EXTENDED WARRANTY PROGRAM
Extended warranty protection is available on new desktop computers up to 3 years. Please ask your sales representative for pricing and details.
ACCURACY OF WEBSITE DATA
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information, due to human error or data received from our suppliers, Mike’s Computer Shop reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for erroneously listed products. If you have already been charged and your order is cancelled, Mike’s Computer Shop will immediately issue a refund.
PLEASE NOTE:
WARRANTY MAY BE VOID IF THE PURCHASER UPGRADES OR CHANGES INTERNAL COMPONENTS OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM UNLESS DONE BY MTC STAFF. ALL WARRANTIES ARE TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY, AND ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE.
MTC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST DATA DUE TO HARDWARE FAILURE. THE END USER SHOULD USE CAUTION AND ADHERE TO A BACK-UP SYSTEM.
NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
